DarkGrid does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, browsing history, or usage information โ from you or anyone using the extension. There are no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, and no advertising SDKs of any kind.
DarkGrid has no backend. The extension never makes a network request of any kind. It runs entirely on your device and has no way to send data anywhere, even if it wanted to.
Your preferences โ theme on/off, accent color, edge-glow setting, and any per-site exceptions โ are stored locally on your device using Safari's built-in storage.local API. This data never leaves your device, is never synced to any external service by DarkGrid, and is deleted automatically if you remove the extension.
DarkGrid has no accounts, no sign-in flow, and never asks you for any personal information โ no email, no name, nothing.
DarkGrid applies CSS styling to the web pages you visit, purely on-device, to render a dark theme with your chosen accent color. It does not read, log, analyze, or transmit the content of the pages you visit.
Because DarkGrid collects no data from anyone, it does not knowingly collect data from children, and there is nothing for the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) to apply to.
If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page with a revised date above. Given DarkGrid's zero-collection design, we don't expect that to happen.
